The application form asks many questions about what supports you, your inner journey, how grief has shown up in your life, your experience of holding space, and more. This helps us to have a sense of where you are at, and why this programme might be helpful for you.
We think the programme is appropriate for you if you:
- Want to grow your confidence, understanding, skills and range of practices to welcome and tend grief in healthy ways.
- Have done deep work yourself, and understand what supports people to engage in transformational work.
- Are able to hold yourself in strong feelings, with others, to move between being in the process and a witnessing or reflecting position.
- Are interested in a broad purpose of shared grief tending, as a vital element of social culture, not just for individual benefit but as an essential element in preventing and healing historic and collective harm.
- Have some understanding of, and are open to exploring, systemic oppression, your place in them.
- Have experience of holding space for others in any setting.
- Want to carry practices of tending grief to others in some way.
We especially welcome those who have connections, background, or passion, to take this work to people and places it is not yet reaching.
We are open to requests for low cost places, payment in instalments, and exchange instead of financial payment.
After completing your application you should hear from us within two weeks. If the programme you are applying for is a long way off we may not get in touch until it’s closer.
